Join Outdoorphoto and Sony for a hands-on wildlife photography experience at Rietvlei Nature Reserve, designed to give photographers and creators the opportunity to test a selection of Sony cameras and lenses in a real outdoor environment.

This self-drive excursion is open to all camera users, whether you currently shoot Sony or simply want to experience what the Sony Alpha system can do in the field. Attendees will have the opportunity to try selected Sony gear while exploring the reserve and taking part in a fun competition-style photo challenge.

The event will be structured around a series of creative challenges designed to help you test different equipment in practical wildlife and nature scenarios.

Specialist team members will also be available on the day to offer practical advice, answer questions and help attendees get the most out of the equipment being tested.

Please Note:

  • This is a self-drive event. Attendees will need to use their own vehicles inside the reserve and follow all Rietvlei Nature Reserve rules and regulations.
  • Gear testing will be managed through a structured challenge format to ensure that as many attendees as possible get an opportunity to try the available equipment.
  • Available Sony gear may vary on the day and will be rotated between participants.
