Weighing only 275g with batteries, the Speedlight SB-500 is surprisingly portable with dimensions of just 67mm (width) x 114.5mm (height) x 70.8mm (diameter). Its flash head tilts up to 90° and rotates 180° left and right, reducing your need for unnatural shading with additional accessories. Simply slot in 2 R7/AA-size batteries and start snapping away with ease.

With a coverage of 24mm lens angle of view in FX-format DSLRs, it provides even lighting to reproduce colour as you see it. The colour information communication function of the Speedlight also works seamlessly to automatically set the most appropriate white balance when paired with compatible cameras such as the D810 and D750.
