The Gura Gear Kiboko 22L Camera Backpack features a signature Butterfly-style dual front access for quick, organised retrieval without exposing all contents. It fits large DSLR and lens combos, holding 2 DSLRs with up to a 300mm f/2.8 lens, or an unattached lens up to 400mm. Weighing 1.67kg, it meets international carry-on size limits, giving you extra gear capacity on trips. Made from premium, climate-neutral X-Pac VX-21 sailcloth, it offers durable, water-resistant protection while remaining ultra-lightweight. The patented dual compartment system and 14 organisational compartments and sleeves ensure efficient gear protection and access.

The backpack features high-visibility blue lining as a visual cue to prevent forgotten zips, and comes with extra Artillion foam dividers (used in motorcycle helmets) for impact protection. Front accessory pockets with webbed zipper pockets offer easy visibility of smaller items like keys and pens.

The signature Butterfly style duel front access allows you to access the contents of your bag quickly and without exposing everything to the elements. Pack different variations in each side for maximum organisation. Large DSLR and lens combos fit well inside the 22L Kiboko. There are also webbed zipper pockets on the outside panel of the main compartment for small misc items. The webbed design allows you to see the contents.

Made From Sails

We've made our bag from sails. Sail cloth that is, using the 100% climate neutral VX-21 X-Pac materials. Providing maximum protection while maintaining its ultra lightweight portability.

Built in high visibility blue lining, never forget to zip up again! The Kiboko Backpack line adds an extra layer of protection with this visual cue.

Extra Dividers

Our bags are infinitely configurable and come with plenty of extra divider types to accommodate any setup imaginable. Our dividers are also made out of Artillion Foam which is the same stuff used in motorcycle helmets. High impact protection, low weight and profile.

Front Accessories Pockets

At the exterior of the two front panels are the bags accessory pockets. Loaded with zipper pockets, a key ring, places for pens, and enough space collectively to put a wind breaker jacket inside. The zipper pockets inside feature a webbed style so you can see the contents of the pockets.

X-Pac VX-21

In all of our gear we use X-Pac VX-21, a sailcloth-inspired laminated rip-stop nylon. This is the gold standard in materials for bags. Even after years of abuse it holds up as a durable, water resistant, and ultra lightweight material. Some of our legacy users are still using their original Kibokos from 10 years ago.
