Raising the bar for hybrid cameras, the Nikon Z8 Mirrorless Digital Camera features a compact, lightweight build and boasts powerful features for both video and stills.

Comprised of the same proven sensor, processing, and AF capabilities of the flagship with a redesigned compact and lightweight body that better suits gimbal use, event shooting and other handheld applications. It features a 45.7MP Stacked BSI CMOS Sensor that produces high resolution, fast readout speeds, impressive clarity, and minimal noise. The stacked design and EXPEED 7 processing engine produces speeds approximately 10x faster than a Z7 II and impressive burst rates, a high buffer capacity and fluid video performance. With remarkable frame rates and an all-electronic shutter with no moving parts, you will experience speed with no vibration or noise and reduced rolling shutter distortion.

This hybrid camera enables photographers to take 45.7MP beautifully, coloured stills with burst speeds up to 120 fps and when switching to video, you can achieve internal 8K60 video and 4K120 recording. 12-bit N-RAW is available for depth and detail in a smaller file size, 12-bit ProRes RAW HQ for professional editing, and 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ for industry standard quality that can be edited from a laptop.

The Z8 enhances the detail of portraits by creating a skin-softening effect while keeping the eyes and hair, tack-sharp. You can also control hues and brightness and benefit from an improved auto white balance.

Subject detection with deep learning technology lets you track small, fast subjects, instantly! Even when they are in flight. The 3D tracking with the subject tracking lets you lock unto fast-moving subjects and track them, whether they are moving towards you or away from you. This gives the ability to capture people, dogs, birds, aeroplanes, motorbikes, vehicles, bicycles and trains.
