Armand Grobler is an award-winning wildlife photographer and filmmaker whose work focuses on intimate wildlife behaviour and the emotional narrative of wild Africa. He approaches wildlife photography with a mindset that leans more toward observation than interruption.
Rather than just chasing moments, his work is built around understanding them.
His time in the field reflects:

Created over three years, including extended time alone in Botswana’s Okavango Delta and the Kalahari, the book reflects two very different worlds of Africa:
- The water-rich, shifting life of the Okavango Delta
- The vast silence and raw openness of the Kalahari
Together, they form a visual narrative that is less about documenting wildlife and more about experiencing it.

To celebrate the release, we hosted the official Eden – Soul of Africa book launch at Outdoorphoto Fourways.

It was a space built around connection, storytelling, and a shared appreciation for meaningful visual work.
