More About the Author
First published in 2010, Andrew Aveley has a natural talent for wildlife photography as is evident by placing as a finalist in three of the 2011 BBC Veola Photographer of the Year award categories. In the same year, he was the runner-up in the Fuji / Getaway Photographer of the Year award (wildlife category), and has since won numerous awards for his incredible wildlife and nature photographs. These have been published in many a bespoke coffee table book and, as such, Andrew has become a household name among the South African wildlife community.
In addition to wildlife and nature photography, Andrew is a registered tour guide and specialist photographic tour leader. His passion for teaching naturally evolved into being invited to speak at many events, from the Photo & Film Expo to the Canon South Africa road show.
