It saves editing time, especially with multiple cameras and recorders, and provides a single, accurate reference for scenes, moments, or timestamps. Timecode works by tagging each clip with its precise start time, down to the frame, ensuring clips align perfectly even if devices start or stop recording at different times.

With 32-bit float recording, you'll capture a wider dynamic range of audio levels compared to regular 16-bit or 24-bit without clipping or added noise, offering professionals full flexibility in post-production. Note: 32-bit float recording requires 8GB onboard storage to be enabled. 32-bit float audio files capture a wide dynamic range without distortion, even above 0 dB. Once enabled, recordings are saved as WAV files and can be processed in post-production software. 8GB memory provides a backup for wireless audio transmission to prevent loss from interference. The 8GB memory stores approximately 15 hours of 48 kHz 24-bit WAV or 10 hours of 48 kHz 32-bit float WAV audio.
