The NT-USB+ is based on the original NT-USB, which was released in 2014 and has long been an industry-standard professional USB microphone for musicians, podcasters, streamers and other creators. Featuring the same iconic form factor and studio-quality sound as the original, the NT-USB+ builds on this legacy with a number of next-generation enhancements and is set to become a modern classic.

The NT-USB+ features a studio-grade condenser capsule that evokes the sound of a classic large-diaphragm condenser microphone. Delivering warmth and clarity, with a full frequency response and tight cardioid polar pattern for clear, focused audio, it excels on everything from vocals and speech to acoustic guitar and other instruments. The NT-USB+ features enhanced circuitry, with RODE’s ultra-low-noise, high-gain Revolution Preamp technology – first introduced with the groundbreaking RODECaster Pro II ¬– as well as upgraded high-resolution 24-bit/48kHz analogue-to-digital conversion for pristine audio quality. It also features powerful internal DSP, which allows users to apply advanced APHEX processing to their audio. This includes a high-pass filter for cutting out low-end rumble, a noise gate for eliminating background noise, a compressor for delivering punchy and balanced sound, and the legendary Aural Exciter and Big Bottom effects for rich, broadcast tone. We firmly believe the NTH-100s are the most comfortable headphones you will ever wear. They are optimised for long-format content creation, with every component painstakingly crafted with comfort in mind. This, of course, starts with the earcups and headband.

The NTH-100s feature luxurious Alcantara fabric on the earpad and headband cushions. This is a premium material often used in sports cars and high-end fashion. It is supremely comfortable to the touch – highly breathable and very soft – and extremely durable (more on this later).

The earpads also feature our revolutionary CoolTechTM gel integrated into the cushions, which absorbs and dissipates heat, actively cooling your ears to reduce wearing fatigue. This feature is invaluable for creators who often find themselves in long, arduous sessions – from mixing engineers to podcasters.
