If you're looking for a compact wide-angle zoom for your Nikon Z camera, this lens covers a useful range without adding much weight to your bag. The Tamron 20-40mm f/2.8 Di III VXD Lens for Nikon Z focuses as close as 17cm, so you can move in on small subjects and still keep the background in view.
This lens suits travel, street scenes, interiors and landscapes. With a 1:3.8 maximum magnification ratio, it handles close-up and macro-style shots of flowers, textures and small objects. The VXD linear motor focus mechanism moves the focus group quickly and quietly, which helps for both stills and video. Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF keep people sharp when they move around the frame. The constant f/2.8 aperture helps in dim light, such as indoor events or evening walks.
