Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art Lens for Sony E
Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art Lens for Sony E – Description
The Sigma 17-40mm f/1.8 DC Art Lens for Sony E sets a new benchmark for APS-C mirrorless zoom lenses, offering professional-grade optical performance and creative versatility. With a constant f/1.8 large aperture throughout its zoom range, it delivers exceptional brightness, beautiful background separation, and prime-like sharpness from edge to edge.
Building on the legacy of the legendary 18–35mm f/1.8, this next-generation design expands the range to 17–40mm while achieving a 30% reduction in weight, making it more portable and practical for everyday shooting. Driven by the HLA (High-response Linear Actuator), autofocus is fast, precise, and nearly silent. The inner zoom mechanism maintains balance, and minimal focus breathing ensures consistent framing in motion.
