The Sigma 16-300mm f/3.5-6.7 DC OS Contemporary for Nikon Z offers an 18.8x zoom ratio, so you can move from wide scenes to distant subjects without changing lenses. Its HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor gives fast autofocus for fast-moving subjects such as birds and aircraft, and it supports continuous autofocus.
This lens suits travel days and outdoor shoots, where changing lenses is not always practical. It is small and light, and the dust- and splash-resistant build helps when the weather turns. Optical stabilisation gives up to 6 stops of correction at the wide end, which helps with handheld shots in low light. Close-ups are possible too, with a maximum magnification of 1:2 at 70mm.
