It is sized to hold a complete Mini drone setup, including the drone, RC controller, spare batteries and filters, with dividers and compartments arranged for efficient organisation and protection.

The case features a securely padded lid with a durable YKK zipper, offering added protection when the unit is placed inside a larger backpack where movement may occur. This design helps safeguard sensitive drone components both during transport and while working in the field.

Designed for seamless integration with Shimoda backpacks, the Drone Core Mini fits into the top storage section of the Action X40 and larger packs, allowing drone equipment to be stored separately from camera gear for easier access and organisation. When required, the entire case can be removed and carried independently.

A removable shoulder strap is included, making the case suitable for standalone use when travelling light, hiking from a base camp, or operating from a vehicle. Two clear TPU pockets provide additional organisation for low-profile items such as batteries, filters or a lens cloth, improving visibility and efficiency. An integrated AirTag sleeve allows users to track their kit for added peace of mind.
