The Successor to the G4 Systems

The EW-DP is part of the Evolution Wireless Digital family, the successor to Sennheiser’s Evolution Wireless G4 analogue systems. Building on the renowned reliability and sound quality of the Evolution Wireless G4, Evolution Wireless Digital systems provide a range of improvements, including wireless sync over Bluetooth, enhanced ease of use with a large OLED display and Smart Assist App control, a wider dynamic range, and longer runtimes with the battery pack.

Key Information About the EW-DP System

The EW-DP system, along with all products in the Evolution Wireless Digital Series, does not use compander technology. This is because digital wireless modulation schemes allow for higher data rates, making companders unnecessary. Additionally, the EW-DP system is not compatible with Sennheiser's legacy analogue systems, such as the G3 or G4. The digital transmission technology employed by the EW-DP is not cross-compatible with analogue systems, meaning users will need to rely on modern digital solutions for optimal performance.
