The RØDECaster Video Core is an all-in-one console for professional video and audio production, combining powerful video switching, recording and streaming tools with a fully integrated audio mixer. Designed for software-based control or as part of a modular setup with RØDECaster Sync, it delivers broadcast-quality results for video podcasts, live streams and studio productions.

With RØDECaster Sync, you can scale your setup by connecting the Video Core to the RØDECaster Pro II or Duo, managing audio and video from a single surface, expanding inputs and outputs, enabling shared audio mixing and recording, and unlocking advanced video switching. Switch it Up lets you control up to four video feeds in real time, cut between shots instantly and apply smooth, fully customisable transitions with sequenced live previews for perfectly timed switches.

Set the Scene lets you design and customise layouts, combining video sources, graphics and media into dynamic scenes. Save up to five unique setups and switch between them with a single press for a seamless workflow. Integrated Professional Audio allows mixing, processing and routing of up to nine audio sources via two studio-grade Neutrik® combo jacks. Each channel features APHEX® effects, including EQ, compression, Aural Exciter™ and Big Bottom™, for pristine, broadcast-quality sound.

The console also enhances your workflow with a multi-function USB-C port, letting you connect webcams, capture cards, UVC sources, or RØDE USB microphones. Hands-free Auto-Switching automatically changes camera angles based on who is speaking, while the Comprehensive Multiview display, accessible via the RØDECaster App, provides live previews of all inputs, scenes and feeds alongside critical production details.

The system makes graphics, media and multi-source layouts easy. Graphics Overlays lets you access and arrange logos, watermarks, lower-thirds and other assets. The Media Player integrates video, images and sounds, while Multi-source Layouts allow picture-in-picture, split screen and more. Automatic Keying simplifies green screen setups with effortless chroma keying.

Record On-Board captures your production directly to a hard drive or USB device, with optional independent recording of each video and audio source. Post-Production Simplicity enables seamless EDL export for DaVinci Resolve, importing switch points, transitions, media, overlays and full timeline data automatically. The free RØDE Capture app turns your iPhone into a high-quality camera, enabling dual-cam streaming, and Stream to Your Favourite Platform lets you broadcast directly to YouTube, Twitch or other platforms with custom audio routing for your audience, headphones and recordings.
