Introducing the PTZOptics SuperJoy, a PTZ camera joystick controller designed for smooth, efficient production workflows. The SuperJoy takes remote pan, tilt, and zoom camera operations to the next level with a simplified user interface and advanced controls for power users.

Streamlined, Real-Time Production

The SuperJoy offers an intuitive, tactile interface, simplifying and streamlining even the most complex production setups. The SuperJoy’s HDMI video output provides a 1080p video preview for any camera connected to the SuperJoy that has an RTSP video feed available for use. This HDMI video output is ideal for viewing cameras over a local area network. In this way, a SuperJoy controller can be set up anywhere on a network to gain PTZ camera controls with low-latency, live video preview.

Ergonomic, rubberised controls and pressure-sensitive dials provide precise, on-the-fly tuning, with no on-screen display (OSD) adjustments required.

Custom Control Across a Variety of Cameras and Devices

The PTZOptics SuperJoy is a comprehensive solution supporting mix-and-match serial and network-based control for PTZ cameras of any generation.

Simultaneous pan, tilt and zoom control across IP, NDI® and serial cameras from multiple brands including PTZOptics, HuddleCamHD, Sony, BirdDog, Lumens, Marshall, NewTek, and Panasonic (newer Panasonic cameras that support Sony VISCA will work).

If it’s IP-controlled, chances are the SuperJoy can control it – cameras, lights, projector screens and more – using four customisable buttons.

Powerful Super-Preset buttons are programmable to trigger synchronised multi-preset commands across up to four unique camera groups, each with up to seven cameras, as well as a fifth group of up to 225 cameras.

From Power Users to Novices, a Controller for Everyone

With three user-centred control modes designed to accommodate varying skill levels, the SuperJoy offers unparalleled flexibility for production teams of all backgrounds and experiences.

Use Basic and Basic Plus mode to limit functions to presets and single-camera control.
Matrix mode enables operators to call presets across up to three cameras.
Expert users can programme custom buttons for production automation.

New Custom Button

Take a new level of control over your production with a customisable joystick button. This button is conveniently located at the top of the joystick controller for quick access to your most used functions. This joystick button is fully customisable, so you can choose whether you want it to start recording in your video production software or start auto-tracking on your currently selected camera.

Automatic Triggers

PTZOptics IP joystick controllers now support automatic triggers, which can be used to trigger a command when switching a camera. Automatic triggers are ideal for integrating your PT-JOY-G4 or PT-SUPERJOY-G1 joystick controllers with your video switcher or other production equipment. Use automatic triggers to automate your video production workflow and effortlessly queue up your next camera or prepare your next scene.
