The OM SYSTEM FD-1 Flash Diffuser is designed for handheld macro photography, making it ideal for capturing small moving subjects like insects, as well as shooting in low-light environments. By redirecting the camera’s built-in flash, it illuminates close-up subjects evenly, helping you achieve bright, detailed shots even underwater. It also enables creative effects not easily possible with DSLRs, such as keeping the subject bright while maintaining a dark, dramatic background.
- Achieve Softer, More Natural Lighting
- Distribute Light Evenly
- Reduce Harsh Shadows
- Achieve Close-Up Illumination Range
A built-in light output control lever lets you adjust brightness in roughly 1.4-step increments, giving you precise control to match different shooting conditions and creative styles.
