The Nikon Z 24-105mm f/4-7.1 is a versatile zoom lens designed for Nikon Z-mount cameras, compatible with both full-frame and DX-format sensors. Covering a wide-to-telephoto focal range, it is suitable for landscapes, portraits, and macro still-life photography. Its compact design, measuring 10.7 cm in length and weighing only 350 g, makes it a highly portable option for daily carry and travel.

The lens incorporates a 12-element, 10-group optical structure, including one extra-low dispersion and two aspherical elements. This ensures consistent sharpness across its zoom range while minimising chromatic aberrations. The minimum focus distance ranges from 20 cm at 24 mm to 28 cm at 105 mm, providing close-up shooting capabilities and up to 0.5x magnification at the telephoto end for detailed macro shots.

Autofocus is handled by a built-in STM stepping motor, offering fast, quiet, and precise performance, ideal for both stills and video recording. The customisable control ring allows for manual focus and adjustment of aperture, ISO, or exposure compensation, giving photographers flexible control over their settings. The lens also supports a 67 mm front filter thread, making integration with filters straightforward.

Overall, the Nikon Z 24-105mm f/4-7.1 lens combines versatility, portability, and high optical performance, making it suitable for a wide range of photography styles while remaining lightweight and easy to carry.
