Optical Performance

These binoculars feature 10x magnification and 42 mm objective lenses for bright, sharp images. The compact roof prism design is enhanced with P40 phase-corrected coatings, improving contrast and colour accuracy. The HighLux System (HLS) and HDC multi-coatings boost light transmission and reduce internal light loss, delivering excellent clarity. With a 102-metre field of view at 1,000 metres and a 61° apparent angle of view, they offer a wide, immersive experience. The close focus distance of 1.6 metres makes them suitable for both near and distant observations.

Use and Handling

The closed bridge design provides a solid, compact form. The twist-up rubber eyecups have four positions for comfort, and the binoculars are tripod-mountable with an optional adapter. They offer ±4 right-eye dioptric correction and 15 mm of eye relief, ensuring sharp, comfortable views for all users. The 4.2 mm exit pupil helps maintain brightness, even in low light.

Construction Details

These binoculars are made from lightweight magnesium alloy and feature textured rubber armouring for a slip-resistant grip. They're nitrogen-filled, waterproof, and fogproof, submersible up to 4 metres. Tethered lens caps protect the lenses, while the binoculars weigh just 730 grams, making them easy to carry for long periods.
