The Insta360 X Series Cold Shoe is a compact accessory designed to hold clip-on microphones, keeping them out of view while filming with the Insta360 X4 Air or X5 action cameras. This bracket is particularly useful for users who want to capture high-quality audio without interfering with the camera lens or framing.

The cold shoe is designed to fit between the camera and a selfie stick, mini tripod or other mounting support. It does not require screws or additional hardware, making installation simple and quick. The bracket sits below the camera’s 6.35 mm threaded mounting hole, allowing the selfie stick or tripod to attach as usual.

The accessory works with the RODE Wireless GO, GO II, Me and Pro clip-on microphone receivers. Users can easily clip the mic onto the bracket and remove it when not needed. A short audio cable is included for connection to the separately available X5 Mic Adaptor and a hook-and-loop strap helps secure the cable to the selfie stick.
