Formatt-Hitech 85x110mm Soft Edge Graduated ND 1.2 Filter (4 Stops)

Designed to balance the overall exposure within a high-contrast scene, the 85 x 110mm Soft-Edge Graduated Neutral Density 1.2 Filter from Formatt-Hitech is ideal for situations involving both bright and dark areas, such as an open sky and shadowed foreground. Half of the filter has 1.2 neutral density and the other half is clear, with a soft-edged transition between the two that is ideally suited for use with medium and wide-angle lenses or when there is an uneven, undulating horizon. By reducing the exposure in selective areas, you are able to balance the overall exposure of the scene in order to gain detail in both bright and dark areas.

This filter is constructed from lightweight, durable optical resin, which is also designed to maintain image clarity and not affect the overall colour balance of the scene. It measures 3.3 x 4.3" / 85 x 110 mm, is 1.5mm thick, and is suitable for use in 85mm filter holders.
