Canon EOS R8 Mark II Mirrorless Camera

Experience the power of full-frame

The EOS R8 Mark II is a full-frame mirrorless camera that combines portability, simplicity and beautiful image quality, designed for photographers who want to tell richer travel stories with ease. It sits above the EOS RP and EOS R8, and at a similar level to the EOS R7 – although its full-frame sensor will appeal to a more creative audience.

Catch the moment before it happens

Shoot silently at up to 40fps2 with pre-continuous shooting. Start capturing half a second before you take the shot. Giving you up to 20 extra images to choose the perfect frame.

Focus on what matters

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II uses deep learning to recognise and track people, animals and vehicles across the frame. Register People Priority automatically keeps selected people in focus.

Compact. Lightweight.Built for bigger ideas.

Full-frame performance in an APS-C DSLR-sized body. Respond more quickly when it counts, thanks to a new design and intuitive controls that feel familiar from the first shot.

Create your own visual style

Make every image your own using customisable Canon Picture Styles and Filmtone Colour Filters. Easily match colours to your subject with scene-based colour modes.
