What makes the FastenR so revolutionary?

Increased security: By attaching the strap to the tripod screw, the camera is less likely to fall or be dropped accidentally.

Convenience: When the camera is not in use, the FastenR allows you to take advantage of having the center of gravity of your camera by balancing it upside down at your hip or just behind your back. Making it easy to both carry it and sling it quickly into action.

Every BLACKRAPID camera strap comes with its own FastenR5 (FR-5).  However, if you have more than one camera, you can quickly switch between cameras or switch between camera straps at your convenience.

The FastenR is made from nylon over-molded and stainless steel construction with a rubber washer. The FastenR post is threaded to fit a standard tripod-mount hole on the camera.
