Benro 82mm Master Magnetic CPL Filter for FH100M3

This 82mm magnetic circular polariser (CPL) filter from Benro is dedicated for use with the FH100M3 filter holder.

Easy Mounting

Unlike standard CPL filters, this filter does not have screw thread or a rotating front element, and the rotation is achieved by a mechanism on the holder. Without the rotating front element, the CPL is much easier to attach and remove compared to the previous system where the CPL had a front rotating element.

Ultra-thin design

The CPL's ultra-thin design, which is constructed from ultra-thin Schott B270 glass and thin ring, reduces the occurrence of vignetting at extreme wide-angle.

Thanks to the extremely thin design, it is possible to use this filter on many 15mm full-frame lenses, with an exception for a handful of lenses that have a different construction, which can cause some filters vignetting. Tamron 24-70 f/2.8 G2, Sony 16-35 f/2.8 GM, and Tamron 24-70 f/15-35mm f/2.8L IS USM are examples of such lenses. In such a scenario, the 95mm Master Magnetic CPL is recommended.

Polished glass & coatings

In addition, flat polished HD glass minimises refraction of light, thus minimising loss of resolution. Flare and chromatic aberration are reduced by the application of a 16-layer ULCA coating while polarised light is also reduced. The scratch-resistant glass also receives a WMC coating to render the filter water and oil repellent for easier cleaning.
