The Powerex PRO Rechargeable battery is a nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) battery with an ultra-high capacity of 2700mAh (minimum capacity of 2550mAh). These batteries are built for performance and optimised for high drain devices by providing increased runtime and improved low-temperature performance down to -20°C. They can be recharged up to hundreds of times. The batteries are capable of being stored for an extended period of time and will retain up to 75% of their capacity after one year in storage.

The Powerex PRO is a low self-discharge battery that can be stored for an extended period of time and still retain a full or nearly full charge. They can retain up to 75% of their capacity after 1 year in storage.*

These batteries have honestly been a game changer for me and flash photography. Standard Duracell batteries never lasted and drained fast. I’ve been super impressed with how instantaneously my flash powers up again after firing and I haven’t run them flat yet. The trade off is the fact that a pack of 4 takes 4 hours to charge. Really a no brainer though if you use your flash often.
