The minimum focusing distance of 29cm suits working with close-up subjects such as shooting wedding details, jewellery, food, flowers, products, nature, wildlife, or portraits.
A bright f/2.8 maximum aperture lets you confidently work in low-light conditions, as does the VR image-stabilisation system minimises the appearance of camera shake by 4.5 stops when shooting handheld in difficult lighting conditions.
A Dual-Motor Multi-Focus STM System with manual focus override provides fast and responsive autofocus, and this unique multi-focus system also reduces chromatic aberration and colour fringing common among macro lenses.
