Zip-on, zip-off

An industry first, the integrated zip-on diffuser on the MagBox Pro is something you kind of have to experience for yourself to truly appreciate. As simple as it sounds, this sweet zip-on zip-off action makes your MagBox totally easy and frustration-free. The first time you try it, you’ll ask yourself “why didn’t I think of that?” Want to change up your look and go diffusion free? The zip-off diffuser tucks neatly away into an integrated inside pocket in seconds so you’ll never have to worry about losing your diffuser or figuring out where to store it — it’s always ready to go.

First gel-able softbox

Before the MagBox, adding colour to a large softbox was next to impossible. The MagBox’s patented design ingeniously adapts gels to larger softbox modifiers for the first time ever, which made it the first gel-able softbox. Simply pop one of the rigid MagBox Gels into the frame, and just like that you’ve got a colourful, soft light. A zipper built right in the side of the MagBox makes it easier for you to swap out the coloured gels during your shoot without removing the diffuser or fabric grid.

MagShoe cold-shoe bracket (sold separately)

Use the entire MagBox Pro system on the stand or take it handheld when attached to our comfortable, ergonomic, and totally awesome MagShoe 2 — the industry’s most innovative cold-shoe flash bracket, now made even stronger.

The MagShoe 2 is materially and structurally stronger than the original MagShoe, and is required for use with the larger MagBox Pro 42 Octa or MagBox Pro 36 Strip. The MagShoe 2 gets rid of ugly, uncomfortable, time-consuming knobs and brackets and redesigns the clunky cold shoe body into a simple, easy to use design.

A large squeezable button adjusts the MagShoe 2’s position and locks it in quickly at the angle you choose. Just squeeze and release. That’s it.

At the top, the MagShoe 2’s custom, durable locking mechanism tightens your flash in with a simple twist and makes sure it isn’t going anywhere.

And since we like to make things easy, this system is so simple to set up and control that it can all be used one-handed.
