For its purpose, the PW 517 is an excellent pen. I recently found that my graphics tablet's pen was functioning sub-optimally and had to get a replacement because it was a serious hindrance to my workflow. I don't know if I got a bad pen before with my purchase of the HUION KAMVAS 22 PLUS but whatever the issue was, the new pen absolutely melted away any worries.
The pen works seamlessly with my graphics tablet, there was no procedure for connection and I could get back to work immediately without hassle. A good replacement, should you need one. One thing to note is that this pen only functions with select HUION tablets so be sure of which pen you need before purchasing.
