Bluetooth Support
By Bluetooth connecting a smartphone and X2 trigger, all built-in receiver 2.4G Godox flashes can be triggered and controlled via the "GodoxPhoto" App.
Using your iPhone/Android-based smartphone, or iPad/Android-based tablets to connect the X2 via Bluetooth after downloading the "GodoxPhoto" App, you can control the flash mode, power output, the modelling light mode, the beep of Godox flashes and more.
Supporting TTL autoflash & professional functions
With 5 groups, 32 channels and access to 99 wireless ID settings to limit interference from other nearby systems (PS: only when the wireless ID and channel of the master flash and slave flash are the same, can they be triggered).
Fully supports TTL autoflash, 1/8000 sec high-speed sync, multiflash mode, manual mode, flash exposure compensations, adjusting the lighting through the mobile app, scan setting, one-shot and multi-shot setting, control of the modelling lamp, adjusting all groups' output value simultaneously, and more.

Ease of use is much improved over the X1T. Being a universal system I'm using two older Canon 580exii's on X1R-Cs with great results. I'm dropping a star for build quality, the battery cover is especially dinky fragile plastic, so handle with care. Another star dropped for proper product support. Tip, when updating firmware for X1R - use a windows 7 pc only, windows 10 gives driver errors. The X2T-S firmware update to v4 (from v3) caused the device not to power up, after a big fright I managed to roll back to the earlier working version (v3).

I am using this with a Sony RX10 IV, so nothing fancy. Have taken some high-speed sync photos (water drops) in combination with a TT685S and no issues picked up. The Bluetooth app for a phone is a bonus. Recommended.
