- All of the individual parts are mechanically fixed together using special joints and high-grade stainless steel screws and absolutely no welding, which in turn means, no weak points in the design
- The manufacturers added lock and drag knobs and six precision sealed ball bearings will allow for smooth pan and tilt motion for greater control over panning and tilting
- In addition, the construction contains no plastic or rubber and all of the knobs are captive, so nothing will get lost or need replacement because of deterioration and has the capacity to handle the large 800mm telephoto lenses of both Nikon and Canon
