This basic adaptor ring allows you to mount a lens to your Canon camera in reverse. It fits lenses with a 52mm filter thread. Mounting a lens in reverse transforms it into a super strong macro lens and is a budget-friendly way to get some awesome macro shots of very tiny subjects. You will lose autofocus as well as aperture control functionality this way, so everything will have to be done manually. It could be challenging at first, but once you get the hang of it, this simple adaptor will let you capture unbelievable macro images with the lens you already own.

The lens reverse mount ring is a great starting point for learning a bit about macro work. For the price, it really gives an interesting effect. It is, however, very limiting, as it fits to the front of the lens, and therefore only 52mm lenses can be used. It also makes it difficult not being able to control aperture at all. All in all I've enjoyed it, but it has only made em want a full macro lens or an extender even more.
