The Canon RF 600mm f/11 IS STM is a super-telephoto prime designed for use with full-frame Canon RF-mount mirrorless digital cameras.

An STM motor allows smooth, quiet AF while a Lens Control Ring gives intuitive control over settings. Pleasing bokeh is achieved thanks to a bladeless f/11 aperture.

An impressive and incredibly unique super-telephoto, the Canon RF 600mm f/11 IS STM is an especially compact and lightweight lens considering its long focal length.
Featuring a retractable design and a fixed f/11 aperture, this lens's sleek profile makes handheld super-tele shooting a very real possibility, and optical image stabilisation further helps to achieve sharp imagery when working in difficult lighting conditions.
Also contributing to the reduced size is a distinct optical layout, which uses gapless dual-layer diffractive optics instead of multiple heavier individual elements, which also effectively controls colour fringing and chromatic aberrations for high clarity.
Complementing this design is an STM stepping motor that delivers quick and quiet autofocus performance that is suitable for both stills and video needs.
Additionally, a Control Ring is also integrated into the lens design for intuitive control over exposure settings from the lens itself. If you need more reach, the 600mm is compatible with the 1.4x and 2x RF Extenders for an effective focal length of 840mm or 1200mm, respectively.

I got better images for birding with this lens on an RP than the Sigma 150-600 on my DSLR. The first thing I did was to limit max iso to 1600. Am so impressed. May get the 1.4x rf extender for some more reach. Service from Outdoorphoto was superb. I received my order in record time. Thanks for being so good with the integration of online shop products with your inventory, it is my biggest problem with other major suppliers, no need to jump through hoops to find out whether stock is actually available or not!!! I'll be returning for sure.
