The 3 Legged Thing Ultra Plates are long, multi-functional Arca-Swiss compatible release plates designed for versatility, allowing users to mount various camera gear such as cameras, lenses, scopes, monitors, lights, and microphones on a single plate.

In response to the shift from DSLR to video and the rise of smaller, more powerful mirrorless cameras, these plates combine the connectivity of a cheese plate or cage with the load-balancing of a long plate.

The Ultra Plate features a cable management hook to organise tethering, HDMI, and jack cables, as well as contoured edges for comfortable handling. It has a chamfered cold shoe mount for attaching flashes and microphones, while the extended screw slot allows precise positioning. An Arca square provides quick 90˚ adjustments in most Arca-Swiss style clamps, and multiple ¼”-20 and 3/8”-16 screw threads on both the top and bottom allow for attaching additional accessories.
