The Lenspen is a dry lens cleaning pen to be used for cleaning finger marks and dust off lenses without the mess of liquids to apply. It is perfect for cleaning camera and binocular lenses, small apertureAPERTUREAperture, shutter speed and ISO form what is known as the exposure triangle in photography. Aperture refers to an opening inside the lens, similar to the iris of your eye, that changes in diameter to control the amount of light that enters a camera. Aperture is expressed in f-stops: the lower the number, the larger the aperture, e.g. f/1.4 is larger than f/8. A larger (or wider) aperture allows more light to pass through the lens to the sensor (film) as a picture is taken, particularly useful in low-light conditions. A larger aperture also produces a shallower depth-of-field, and thus more background blur. spotting scopes and telescopes, eyepieces, and other optical items.
On the one side it has a soft retractable brush that can be used to brush off any excess dust and debris. The other side has a soft, round 13mm velvet tip treated with activated carbon powder. This activated carbon dissolves all finger marks or any other dirt that might be stuck to the lens, all without scratching the surface and without leaving any solvent residue. After polishing the lens, the excess carbon powder can be removed with the brush. Lenspens are good for an average of 500 uses before replacement is necessary.
