The manual/autofocus mode switch enables instant switching between manual and autofocus modes, allowing instant response to changing shooting situations and focusing needs.

A customisable focus hold button is provided for easy access and convenient control. An alternative function can be assigned to the focus hold button from the body menus. You could assign the focus hold button to the focus magnifier function, for example, providing on-the-fly access to focus magnification while shooting.
