**ANSI lumen is standardised by the American National Standards Institute. First the projector is set up to display an image in a room at a temperature of 77 degrees Fahrenheit. The brightness and contrast of the projector are adjusted so that on a full white field it is possible to distinguish between a 5% screen area block of 95% peak white and two identically sized 100% and 90% peak white boxes at the center of the white field. The light output is then measured on a full white field at nine specific locations around the screen and averaged. This average is then multiplied by the screen area to give the brightness of the projector in “ANSI lumens.”

Wireless connectivity & media streaming with HDMI dongle
You can attach a HDMI dongle to provides wireless connectivity for many laptop computers, and smartphones*. The HDMI and USB ports on the MP-CD1 accept a variety of media-streaming devices/dongles like Chromecast, for access to a wide range of video sources, such as YouTube™ or Netflix5.

Other accessories include an HDMI cable, a USB C-C cable for charging, and an adapter so you can also charge with a USB-A to micro USB cable*.
*When using the Micro USB to USB-C adapter, the projector can be charged only while it is off.

Fast USB-C charging compatible with portable chargers: As the battery is charged via the standard USB-C port, there’s no proprietary AC adapter to carry or forget. It's rated at 5 V, 3 A that ensures rapid recharging. And outdoors where there is no AC outlet, you can charge the MP-CD1 from a portable power bank.
HDMI/MHL connectivity: The HDMI port on this projector is compatible with standard HDMI/MHL inputs. You can connect via cable to laptops, gaming consoles, Android devices, and also Apple devices (using a digital AV adapter, sold separately).
Audio output: The standard audio jack lets you plug in either headphones or external speakers for multimedia entertainment.
Powerful 5,000 mAh battery/charger: The 5000 mAh rechargeable battery is good for up to 2 hours of use. But it can also serve as a USB charger for your other mobile devices. So even if you’re not planning to make a presentation, the MP-CD1 is handy to have when you’re out and about.
