Formatt-Hitech 100x100mm Firecrest Pro 1.2 ND Filter (4 Stops)

The Formatt Hitech-100x100mm Firecrest Pro ND 1.2 Filter is a solid neutral density filter providing a 4-stop reduction in exposure. This 1.2 density creates a darkening of the entire image, allowing you to photograph with a wider aperture or longer shutter speed than normally required. By slowing your exposure time or increasing your aperture, you are able to control depth of field and convey movement more easily. The filter measures 100 x 100mm and is 2mm-thick, making it compatible with the Formatt Hitech 100mm Filter Holder.

This filter was manufactured using a rare earth metal coating, which is applied directly onto the glass using our advanced multi-coating technology. This is then bonded between further layers of the finest Schott Superwhite optical glass to provide industry leading scratch resistance and longevity. For complete light leakage protection, a component on blackout edging is applied to completely alleviate the risk of light leak that can occur through unprotected filter edges.
