Sigma 105mm f/2.8 DG DN Macro Art is a short-telephoto prime lens optimised for macro photography use. It offers a life-size, 1:1 reproduction ratio for sharp, accurate rendering of close-up subjects, a minimum focusing distance of 29.5 cm and a 13.97 cm working distance.
A Hyper-Sonic Motor provides quick and quiet AF performance and intuitive full-time manual focus control. A focus limiter switch also helps to boost focusing speed and precision, and there is also a customisable AFL button and dedicated focus mode switch.
Its optical design has an SLD element to help realise high clarity and colour accuracy, a Super Multi-Layer Coating helps control flare and ghosting., and a nine-blade rounded diaphragm offers smooth bokeh quality.
