The Phottix Varos Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder allows the use of umbrellas in tandem with any off-camera speedlight flash. This system’s portability holds endless possibilities and enables the use of modified flash light in nearly any shooting scenario imaginable.

Excellent build quality

It is manufactured from high grade aluminium alloy and features a metal coldshoe clamp for superior durability and clamping security. 3/8” and 1/4” female threaded inserts and male 3/8” and 1/4” screws are included.

Specialised and patented features

The Phottix Varos Flash Shoe Umbrella Holder features a teardrop-shaped umbrella mounting hole which enables it to accept umbrellas with a variety of shaft diameters, between 7-10mm. It is also slanted at an 8 degree angle which lifts the umbrella in respect to the flash and allows more light to hit the center of the umbrella. This ensures a more even spread of the light. The umbrella holder features a patented locking clamp that delivers superior locking force while keeping umbrella shafts damage free.

Ultra compatibility and superior security

The locking mechanism at the bottom also features a patented design locking securely with superior force. It supports the use of 3/8” and 1/4” female threaded inserts. The tilting mechanism can tilt up to 180 Degrees and allows you to shoot straight up or straight down. The tilt mechanism is ready to carry any gear with a maximum support capacity of up to 30kg. New locking features holds bottom lugs secure until the locking button is released.
