The accuracy of the lens is ensured through the absolute encoder (ABS) monitors. To truly capture speed without losing detail you will need powerful optical stabilisation. This 600mm f/4 prime lens features in-lens optical VR image stabilisation that prevents vibrations from the wind, filming handheld, panning or tripod movements, creating up to 5.0 stops faster shutter speed. By combining in-lens and in-camera VR systems, you can achieve up to 5.5 stops. 

Video creators can rely on a stable, bright view while recording. The 2.3x Crop Mode allows you to record 4K video from a great distance. Use the focus ring and click-less control ring to make smooth changes to focus and iris.
