The MB-D16 Battery Grip can be powered by eight AA batteries or one EN-EL15 rechargeable battery. Use the MS-D14 battery holder for your AA batteries, and use the MS-D14EN battery holder for the EN-EL15 batteries. The MB-D16 battery grip features a shutter-release button, AE/AF lock button, multi selector and main- and sub-command dials for improved operation when taking vertical pictures.
