It is simple, all you do is point the camera in the direction of your subject and the camera immediately predicts the intended subject and specifies the focus area. As the active focus area is automatically specified in accordance with the size of the subject, it is effective for a variety of subjects — from faces to still objects — whether or not they are in the center.
