Manfrotto 055 Kit - Aluminium 3-Section Horizontal Column Tripod + Ball Head

Manfrotto’s new 055 aluminium 3-section tripod is available as a kit in combination with the 498RC2 ball head with quick-release camera plate.

The key feature of this tripod has to be the 90º centre column mechanism, in addition to extending vertically as normal it also allows the column to be extended horizontally, opening up endless creative possibilities.

The main feature of this tripod makes it extremely versatile and suitable for a variety of photography and videography while still allowing it to be set up and disassembled at moment’s notice, all with the camera still attached.

This compact, lightweight tripods’ legs are quick to extend and adjust with one hand because of the Quick Power Lock levers.
You can also position each leg separately to give you more freedom and control in how you set up your tripod.

To help with the precise framing and setting up of the tripod legs, there is a bubble level built in to the top of the centre column.
This feature can rotate right around the centre column and positioned where you can utilize it best.

Another beneficial feature is the Easy Link connector that can be used to support either LED light, flash, reflector or even an extending arm or bracket, making this tripod particularly useful when doing any kind of studio work.
