Well, this lens hoodie is a great companion out in the bush or in the arctic no matter where I go. It is fast to take off the lens, nada work with any stupid lens cap, which takes longer to take off and to put on. As we all know in wildlife photography something should go fast if needed. I always make sure that the hoodie goes on to protect my lens from the dust. I have several hoodies for all my lenses, I do not want to miss them out in the field, no matter where I am. Great investment, which costs just a few peanuts. For me this is for sure, better than any plastic lens cap.
