The DMC (Digital Multi-Coating) is to reduce lens flare and ghosting, a black Almite frame to minimise reflections, and black-rimmed glass to prevent light reflection. With a low-profile design to avoid vignetting and a knurled edge for easy attachment, it comes in a UV-protected case to extend its lifespan.

Filter absorbs the ultraviolet rays which often makes outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. This multi-purpose, all-around filter can serves as a permanent lens protector. While designed specifically for digital cameras the Pro1 Digital series can be used on film cameras as well.
