The Fujifilm GF 50mm f/3.5 R LM WR is a compact 40mm-equivalent prime lens with a slim, portable design for everyday shooting. The optical design incorporates one aspherical element, which controls distortion and spherical aberrations for a high degree of sharpness and clarity. Balancing the optical attributes, the lens utilises a linear AF motor for quick and quiet focusing performance, while a manual aperture ring offers intuitive exposure adjustment and a Command position permits making camera-based aperture selections. The lens is also dust-, freeze-, and weather-resistant for use outdoors.

The lens consists of 9 elements in 6 groups, including one aspherical lens element. This configuration minimises spherical aberration and distortion allowing excellent image resolving performance and rich tonal reproduction. This lens has low breathing which makes it suitable for movie shooting.

It’s very small and lightweight measuring Φ84x48mm and weighing only 335 g. Combined with a GFX 50R, the kit is very portable and is ideal for street and travel.
High performance
The linear motor which drives the lightweight focus elements internally is very accurate, fast and silent.

The lens is sealed in ten places, making it dust and weather resistant while still being capable of operating in temperatures down to -10°C.
