Compact and portable, yet rugged enough to handle even the most trying of conditions, the graphite black FinePix XP80 Digital Camera from Fujifilm is a point-and-shoot featuring a water, shock, freeze, and dustproof construction. A 16.4MP 1/2.3" BSI-CMOS sensor produces high-resolution stills and full HD 1080p video, which is complemented by 5x Fujinon zoom lens that covers a 28-140mm equivalent focal length range. Optical image stabilization minimizes the appearance of camera shake while a dedicated Action Camera mode works with an optional conversion lens to enable hands-free, body or equipment-mounted use. A rear LCD monitor features an anti-reflective coating for greater visibility in a variety of lighting conditions, and built-in Wi-Fi connectivity permits one-touch transferring of imagery to linked mobile devices, as well as wireless remote controlled shooting from smartphones and tablets.

The FinePix XP80 combines its 5x optical zoom with Intelligent Digital Zoom which results in double the zoom range(10x) whilst offering optimum image processing to counteract the degradation that has traditionally occurred when digital zooms are used.

High-Resolution, 16M BSI-CMOS Sensor and Optical Image Stabilization

16 million pixels BSI-CMOS sensor makes even dark scenes bright for high-quality images. Optical image stabilization reduces the blur that tends to occur when the camera is zoomed in. Scene Recogniton Auto ensures the optimum camera settings are always deployed for the best images of a given scene.

A single push of the Wi-Fi button transfers photos to your smartphone or tablet without having to enter an ID or password, allowing you to share photos with friends or upload to social media. Remotely shoot pictures from your smartphone or tablet. This function allows you to adjust zoom settings or switch to movie recording, making it a particularly useful feature when shooting wildlife that is difficult to approach or in tough wilderness conditions.

The FinePix XP80 can freeze the action at up to an amazing 240 fps! So you can see every single minute detail and watch things happening step by step in slow motion. Scene recognition is available during movie recording. Noise cancellation eliminates the sounds made by the zoom lens during recording. Wind noise is reduced during movie shooting with the wind noise reduction setting. The camera also incorporates a number of advanced movie-editing features, including "movie trimming" to cut un-wanted footage from movies, and "movie join" to join multiple separate clips into a single movie.

Action camera mode that allows you to shoot action packed movies!

"Action camera" mode is perfect for recording footage whilst enjoying outdoor sports. Movies can be recorded whilst your hands are full by fixing the camera to your body or sports equipment. What's more when using the 18mm wide-angle lens converter (Action Camera Lens ACL-XP70), extra dynamic footage can also be captured. In "action camera" mode, the LCD monitor automatically turns off when you start to shoot movies, thereby supporting energy-saving shooting.

"Burst Mode Button" for Responsive, Hassle-Free Shooting

Characterized by high-speed processing, the CMOS sensor empowers continuous shooting at up to 10 frames/sec. (max. 10 frames) or ultra-high-speed bursts at a maximum 60 frames/sec. (max. 70 frames). A dedicated "Burst mode button" lets you instantly switch into continuous shooting mode, making it easy to capture exactly the moment or expression that you're shooting for.

Face Detection

Face Detection optimizes people pictures by identifying faces and adjusting focus and exposure to ensure bright, clear results. Red-eye removal automatically detects and corrects flash reflection for a perfect end result. The Face Detection can simultaneously recognizes up to 10 faces in a photo. Share your group portraits using the zoom up function in playbacks, checking each detected face. Each priceless expression can be cropped and saved in clear high resolution results.
