Satellite connections and Vision sensors

It automatically follows you, or whatever you want it to follow, without the need for a bracelet or a physical tracker. When you take off, the Mavic moves using 2 vision sensors and connects to up to 20 satellites. So it knows where it takes off, where it is in the air, where it is going and what it is capturing.

As you fly, satellite systems keep track of your drone and works in perfect harmony with all 4 vision sensors, telling the DJI Mavic what is below and in front of it.

Tracking at its best

ActiveTrack technology means that you too can now shoot impressive tracking shots like a pro. Just tap and fly.

• Spotlight tracking: Keep the camera trained on your subject while you fly almost anywhere.
• Profile tracking: Fly alongside your subject.
• Trace tracking: Follow behind or in front of your subject, or circle as it moves.

Finely tuned control

Terrain follow mode allows you to keep the Mavic at the height you prefer. It stays at the same height level no matter the terrain so you can focus on your shot.

The Mavic sees, thinks and remembers

Just like you, the DJI Mavic Pro drone sees and thinks. This means that it can avoid obstacles in its flight path whether you’re flying in a forest, beside a cliff and even indoors. It also remembers where it took off and can return by itself at the push of a button, to almost exactly where it took off.

4K Video

You can expect 4K results captured at 30 frames per second with every shot you take with the DJI Mavic drone.

What does refurbishment entail?

Keep Flying with Premium Care

Premium Care is a service plan exclusive to selected aircraft purchased through Outdoorphoto, that provides you with peace of mind, covering damage to your DJI aircraft, gimbal or camera sustained during normal use. 

By purchasing from Outdoorphoto, you will receive a coverage amount equal to the market price of your aircraft for repair services within the validity period, providing you with worry-free flight.

During the validity period, if accidental damage occurs during normal use, repair fees and related costs will be covered by DJI.

• 12-month damage care
• 50% discount loan unit

Premium Care includes a 5% charge on all repairs, so if quote to repair is R10k, the client pays only 5%.

Other benefits include an expedited repair service, and 50% discount on DJI aircraft rental while your Aircraft is under repair.

Premium Care will be terminated without notice in the following situations:

• The service has expired
• Your DJI product was repaired by non-official DJI repair centre
• If a customer has found to have broken a product on purpose, the service will be terminated automatically.

The Premium Care service is valid for 12 months from activation of aircraft, and will automatically terminate once repair cost equals the market value of aircraft.

What's not covered?

• Lost or partially lost aircraft, gimble or camera
• Stolen, forgotten or abandoned product
• Damage caused by flight under unsuitable conditions
• Remote controller
• Abrasions or shell damage that does not affect the performance of the product
• Direct or indirect losses caused by force majeure
• Repair requests outside of the period of validity
• Damage resulting from modifications that are not in accordance with manual recommendations, or the use of incompatible batteries and charger
• Damage resulting from 3rd party accessories
• Flying aircraft in Sport Mode will automatically void your Premium Care
