Connect wirelessly up to 45 m with your Andriod or Mac device
This stand-alone device connects to some Canon or Nikon DSLR cameras with a USB cable, which is included. The CamRanger comes with a free app which enables control of the camera. It creates an ad-hoc WiFi network that your device (iPod, iPhone, iPad, or Windows and Mac computer) can connect to without the need for an internet connection. The wireless network enables connections up to 45 m.
Power use
It uses rechargable batteries and usage is usually between three and six hours. The CamRanger charges with the provided USB cable and an AC adaptor, and is also powered by the USB cable.

Configure device to automatically display pictures as they are taken, toggle on 'client mode' to remove camera controls from device, allow clients to wirelessly view shots right after they've been taken.
HDR/Advanced Bracketing
Configure to take series of pictures automatically varying shutter speed and aperture or ISO, images can be post-processed.
Intervalometer & Bulb
Configure as intervalometer for time lapse pictures, supports bulb mode.
Live View
Wirelessly stream live view from the camera to device, double tap to increase magnification, single tap to focus, 6-18fps.
Macro Photography
Provides precise focusing control, great for awkward camera placements, perform automatic stacking to enhance depth of field.
Movie Recording
Start and stop movie recording, view video while recording, focus adjustments and touch focusing, movie features are camera dependant.
Take & View Pictures
Wirelessly capture images on multiple drive modes, thumbnails automatically appear on screen, tap thumbnail to view image and meta-data, images saved to camera card.
View & Set Camera Properties
Shutterspeed, aperture, ISO, metering mode, drive/shooting mode, white balance, image format, focus mode (Nikon), auto exposure mode (Nikon), exposure compensation & bracketing, software auto-focus toggle to toggle AF/MF
View Camera Card Contents
View thumbnails of images on the memory card, select images for permanent delete or download them and save to device library, double tap image for full resolution.
View Full Resolution Images
Double tap to view image at full resolution, supports full screen mode, toggle variety of overlays.
