The idea behind the new upmarket studio in Cape Town Profoto South Africa now calls home was born out of the need to provide photographers with an interactive, hands-on experience where they could test Profoto equipment from start to finish – this means taking photos, printing, exhibiting and even selling them in a private gallery setting.

Studio hire
Up and coming photographers and videographers can hire this modern, contemporary studio for everything from photo shoots to commercial productions. Although it lacks an infinity curve, the studio is beautifully designed so that you can use every nook and cranny to shoot. There is also a designated area for setting up backdrops.

Venue hire
For those photographers who are interested in printing their work, why not put it on display? You can hire the 375 on Albert studio (for three to seven days) to launch and exhibit your work in your own bespoke gallery. Or, hire the venue for an event – they will clear out the space for you to host up to 100 guests.

Going forward the dream is trading high-end vintage cameras while importing select, niche photography books for serious photography enthusiasts.
