After quite a few rumours about this little dynamite, Canon has finally launched the EOS RP full-frame mirrorless camera. It’s smaller, simplified and marks a significant change in the photography industry. At first sight, it seems like any new, upgraded camera, but once you pick it up and take a closer look you’ll find that this new full-frame mirrorless camera was well worth the wait. Canon coupled the EOS RP with their Canon LP-E17 battery to ensure the camera remains as lightweight as possible. Paired with easy handling, this full-frame mirrorless is more convenient to carry, shoot with and store than any previous EOS full-frame camera before.
The EOS RP comes with an EOS R adaptor that allows full compatibility with Canon EF and EF-S lenses, which gives photographers who own EF-S or EF lenses the confidence to invest in the EOS R system knowing their existing lenses will work seamlessly.
